Spud femelle NPT Boss^® à joint rodé, à visser sur le tuyau ou l’équipement.

Les raccords Boss^® à joint rodé (ground joint) de Dixon sont composés de trois pièces : la tige, le spud et l’écrou à oreilles. L’étanchéité est obtenue par le contact métal sur métal (ou métal-polymère) des surfaces rodées, sans joint d’étanchéité. Ces raccords sont couramment utilisés sur les boyaux de vapeur, d’air et d’eau, avec les colliers Boss^®.
