Les raccords à sertir Gates MegaCrimp™ utilisent un insert en « C » qui répartit uniformément la force de sertissage pour former un joint concentrique. Une même grandeur de raccord s’adapte à plusieurs diamètres extérieurs de boyau, sur les boyaux à une ou deux tresses et certains boyaux Xpiral, ce qui simplifie l’inventaire. Les raccords MegaCrimp sont qualifiés selon les normes de performance SAE, EN et ISO. La conception « bite-the-wire » assure la rétention du boyau.
